EDC 651 - School Counseling Curriculum and Techniques

This course is a study of the school counseling process. It includes basic principles related to assessing, interviewing, listening, communicating, assisting, and referring students. Emphasis is placed on school counseling core curriculum in affecting the positive mental health of students. At least 25 practicum hours are incorporated through counseling skills recordings and reflections.
