Degree Requirements: PSM in Biotechnology
The Cell and Molecular Biology Department offers both a Research emphasis and Biotechnology emphasis M.S. Degree in an interdisciplinary program. Students in the Biotechnology emphasis take coursework in CMB and courses and a seminar series in common with students in the other two Professional Science Master's programs. They also take an intensive internship that will provide hands-on learning in the field.
Overall requirements consist of 35 credits, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Consistent with GVSU policy, all courses must be completed within 8 consecutive years from entry into the first graduate course.
