Galassi-Beria Scholarship supports study abroad in Rome

Katie A. Oyama is the recipient of the Benedetta and Giancarlo Galassi-Beria Scholarship in the amount of $19,000. The award is in support of study at the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies (ICCS) in Rome during the Winter 2012 semester.
Administered by Duke University, ICCS provides undergraduate students with an opportunity in Rome to study ancient history, archaeology, Greek and Latin literature, Italian language, and ancient art. Grand Valley State University is an institutional member.
Katie is featured as a GVSU Success Story.
