A Gazetteer of Courses, 2009-10

In the interest of studying the past from a variety of perspectives and making connections across time and space, we have identified courses to be offered in 2009-10 which focus upon human culture and civilization around the globe and of which any of the following qualities (or their analogues or cognates) may be predicated:

• ANCIENT
• ARCHAIC
• CLASSICAL
• MEDIEVAL
• PREHISTORIC
• PREMODERN
• TRADITIONAL

The result is an interdepartmental advising resource - aid to navigating and exploring the curricular landscape of the university, hence a "gazetteer."
