  1. Developing Relationships with our Alumni

At the last Unit Head meeting, Fred announced that CLAS will be featured at the 2010 Enrichment Dinner and that it behooves us to achieve the strongest possible relationship with our alumni.  We encouraged departments to develop their relationship through direct communications that not only update alumni on news, but are also a platform for raising awareness of ways alumni can help (for instance, your endowment funds, equipments funds or the CLAS Fund for Excellence).

Here is a variety of samples of what is being done by some departments now:

  1. Upcoming CLAS publication on Scholarly and Creative Achievements in CLAS

Reminder:  Unit Heads who have not already done so are encouraged to indicate their priorities for faculty research to be highlighted in our upcoming publication.  Suggestions received by May 8 will be most useful.  Thanks.  ~Monica
