Developing Relationships with our Alumni

At the last Unit Head meeting, Fred announced that CLAS will be featured at the 2010 Enrichment Dinner and that it behooves us to achieve the strongest possible relationship with our alumni. We encouraged departments to develop their relationship through direct communications that not only update alumni on news, but are also a platform for raising awareness of ways alumni can help (for instance, your endowment funds, equipments funds or the CLAS Fund for Excellence).

Reminder: Unit Heads who have not already done so are encouraged to indicate their priorities for faculty research to be highlighted in our upcoming publication. Suggestions received by May 8 will be most useful. Thanks. ~Monica

Blackboard goes down for conversion on April 28^th

Remind your faculty that blackboard goes down for conversion on April 28^th at 2 p.m. Grades are due that day at noon. They must have grades inputted before this conversion occurs.

Low enrolled Summer courses

Please check your summer enrollments; the target for lower division courses is an enrollment of at least 12; for upper division courses an enrolment of at least 10. Contact Dean Stark if you have a special case for which you wish to make an appeal.
