Faculty Advisors, below is the current list of Academic Auditors in the event that there are substitutions that are needed in student programs, these are the persons responsible for placing that information into the student's academic record.

2. Protecting Confidentiality of Student Work - Mary Schutten

As we begin another semester, a reminder to safeguard student work is appropriate. While it seems efficient to place graded student work in the halls, this practice breaches confidentiality procedures. Please remember that all student work should be returned in a manner that ensures confidentiality and reduces the likelihood of student theft of the graded work of other students.


3. Grant Writing Workshops (attachment)

The Office of Sponsored Programs is offering Grant Writing Workshops with David Bauer for GVSU faculty and staff. Please see the attached registration form, and share this information with anyone who may be interested in attending.

4. Sabbatical Forum         

This is a reminder that the Sabbatical Forum is on Thursday, Sept. 27 from 3:30-5:00 in PAD 308. Also, the FDC conducts pre-reads of sabbatical proposals and anybody interested in this should contact David Stark (
