1. Volunteer Opportunity - From Fresh Food Company

My name is Naomi Andres.  I am the Senior Student Manager at Fresh Food Company located in the Commons on the Allendale campus.

We are looking for some Professors, T.A.s and G.A.s who would be interested in volunteering for Mid Night Breakfast from 9 pm -12 am on Dec 9th.  I know President Haas will be in attendance.  I think this would be a great opportunity for students and staff to see each other with in the community outside of the class room.  If you know of any staff/faculty that would like to participate please contact Naomi Andres, Senior Student Manager at Fresh Food Company, ffcmanager@gmail.com  for more details.

2. Confidentiality of Student Work Redux
In last week's mailing, there was a reminder about maintaining the confidentiality of student work. Today, boxes for collection and/or distribution of student work were seen in several hallways.

While it seems efficient to place graded student work in the halls, this practice breaches confidentiality procedures. All student work should be returned in a manner that ensures confidentiality and reduces the likelihood of student theft of the graded work which could lead to plagiarism.
