We have opened up the CLAS Outstanding Service Awards to all tenure-track faculty. Follow the link to the revised form.
Thanks to the work of the Media Services Taskforce (on which Tony Thompson, Barb Roos, Scott Vanderberg, and Monica Johnstone served with colleagues from IT, the Provost's Office and several other campus units), the new media services website is up. Faculty now have a better mechanism for appropriately accessing the limited video recording resources on campus.
Have a great photograph of an aspect of life in CLAS? Might be a beautiful campus picture or teaching-in-action or a great moment on a field project or an evocative shot of students in the lab or a colorful theatre performance image… Those chosen will be from the period between Fall 2008 and this year, will have positive PR value, and will be fairly high resolution (not a web image). The Quadrennial Report of CLAS will be produced during the summer of 2012, and we always like to feature pictures I didn’t take! Please send your favorites to me no later than March 15, 2012. johnstmo@gvsu.edu
5. Did You Know FERPA Covers All Students?
All enrolled students at GVSU irrespective of age are covered by FERPA so any GVSU student needs to sign a waiver each time he/she desires to have others access that student’s information. The waiver can be found in the forms library of the registrar’s web page. Learn more about FERPA
