What can offices do to ensure a smooth transition when new staff members come into a unit? Participants at this roundtable will also discuss how to put together and maintain office procedure manuals.

Organizing Events on Campus
Organizing an event on campus requires not only a working understanding of university procedures and customs but also a knowledge of who to call on campus to get things done. Experienced event organizers will lead discussion on best practices.
Facilitators: Roxanne Mol and Eric Klingensmith
Helping and Referring Distressed Students
Professional Support Staff are often on the frontline when distressed students come into an office. Participants at this roundtable will talk about how one should deal with these students and what resources are available for them.
