GV Physics Hosts MiAAPT

Saturday, April 21, 2012 Grand Valley's Physics Department hosted the Michigan Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers.

MiAAPT works to advance physics knowledge, improve physics teaching, and promote physics as a profession.

Associate Dean Shaily Menon provided opening remarks and Prof. Bernard Pope from MSU, who leads a research group that works at CERN with the Large Hadron Collider, provided tehplenary keynote address.
