Geology Alumnus Wins Teaching Award

Alumnus Chris Bolhuis has been selected as the 2013 American Association of Petroleum Geologists Foundation Teacher of the Year.  Bolhuis teaches three geoscience courses at Hudsonville Freshman Campus in Hudsonville, Michigan.   He graduated with a B.S. in geology in 1994 from Grand Valley State University and holds two teaching certificates with an earth science emphasis.

The award includes $3,000 to the Hudsonville Freshman Campus and $3,000 to Bolhuis.
