Patricia Clark, professor of writing and poet-in-residence, and a poetry contest she won were highlighted in an article, “Venerating an Unwell Sibling and a Literary Cousin,” by Phi Kappa Phi Forum.
Russ Rhoads, associate professor of anthropology, was interviewed by WGVU for a story about his Fulbright Scholar award.
John Kilbourne, professor of movement science, was interviewed by the Harrisburg Patriot News for a story on activity permissible classrooms.
Michelle Rhodes, director of Financial Aid, was interviewed by WOOD-AM for a story about college savings.
Erik Nordman, associate professor of biology and natural resources management, was interviewed by WOOD-AM for a story about new carbon emissions rules.
Steve Mattox, professor of geology, won the 2014 Neil Miner Award from the National Association of Geoscience Teachers, in recognition of “exceptional contributions to the stimulation of interest in the earth sciences.”
Monica Johnstone, director of CLAS communications and advancement, had two textile works featured in the Fiber577 exhibition in Perrysburg, OH on June 7-8, 2014.
