Police Academy
First Aid / CPR Certification
In the 2013 academy session, all recruits will need to have First Aid / CPR certification prior to the start of the academy session. For applicants' convenience, there are two sessions for this training on the Grand Valley campus. Applicants are not required, but are encouraged to attend one of the two sessions to fulfill this pre-academy requirement.
Saturday, February 9, 2013: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (one hour for lunch)
Class cancelled, due to lack of sign up.
Saturday, March 16, 2013: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (one hour for lunch)
Class Limit: 20 people / Cost: $50 payable by check / Location: A-1-161 Mackinac Hall
Deadline to register for this session is March 2, 2013.
These sessions are not a part of the Grand Valley Police Academy session, and therefore, payment and arrangements must be made by contacting:
