U.S. Secret Service Uniform Division Grand Rapids Police Department U.S. Federal Courts & Probation GVSU Career Services ATTENTION: Calling all Criminal Justice majors! Wrap Around of Ottawa County is in urgent need of male mentors to be matched with at-risk youth experiencing family problems, drug and alcohol abuse, criminal involvement, mental health issues, and poverty. As a Wrap Around mentor, you will meet weekly with your mentee for 2-4 hours. During visits, you will participate in community activities with your youth such as eating out, going bowling, playing basketball, etc. Potential mentors must: · Have reliable transportation · Be age 18 or older · Give a hand to a youth in need! Have a clean criminal history · Participate in a 4-hour mentor training · Make a 12-month commitment to the program This is a GREAT opportunity for anyone pursuing a career in the field of criminal justice.
