 Hello Families,

Happy Monday!  Bugs, bugs, and more bugs everywhere. This week we will be exploring bugs- ants, bees, fireglies, lady bugs and beetles. We will be making some crafty crafts out of reusable items to take home.  Some of our activities will continue to  focus on patterns, matching and sorting shapes and counting objects 1-10 through various manipulatives and practice line drawings. Please see lesson plan for more details on daily activities. Our zoophonics letter this week is "Z" for "Zeke the Zebra" We made it to the end of Zoophonics before the semester ended. Yeah!!!!

Some extra classroom happenings that are going on. We will now be having gym time on Monday's and Wednesday's right after breakfast around 9 a.m. with Ms. Daphnea. Once the weather and playground dry up we will be doing the activities outside, but for now we will be having gym time in the preschool room. No Gym Time this Monday.

As part of our parents and teacher communication I have added some articles, such as developmental milestones and potty training, to the to clear file holders near the door to the playground. These articles are yours to take on and keep and if you have any questions or would like to see other articles please feel free to e-mail me and I can add them to the area. Also, if you get a chance to look at the hands on learning bulletin board in the classroom I have been adding what books, songs, or charting we do daily at group time to the area.

Thanks and have a great rest of your week!
