 Hello Families,

Happy Monday!! This week we will be exploring and learning about bugs. A lot of the children have been interested in the bugs we have found on the playground and on campus. Some of the bugs we will be learning about are ants, spiders, bees and other bugs. We will be talking about how not all bugs are harmful and that some are very friendly. Also, how some of the bugs help our plants and vegetables grow better. This week we will also be making bug catchers for the children to collect bugs and look at the bugs more closely and make an ant farm for the classroom. Lastly, we will also be doing more exploring of campus before lunch this week. 

As part of our parents and teacher communication I have added some articles, such as developmental milestones and potty training, to the to clear file holders near the door to the playground. These articles are yours to take on and keep and if you have any questions or would like to see other articles please feel free to e-mail me and I can add them to the area. Also, if you get a chance to look at the hands on learning bulletin board in teh classroom I have been adding what books, songs, or charting we do daily at group time to the area.
