Several GVSU faculty and students attended the 28th Annual Symposium of the Protein Society in San Diego, CA from July 27-30, 2014.
Principal Investigator Deborah Herrington, associate professor of chemistry in the Chemistry Department at Grand Valley State University, will be expanding and further studying the Target Inquiry (TI).
Dr. Todd Carlson was awarded the 2013 GVSU Pineapple Award in April.
Target Inquiry (TI) is a NSF-funded 2.5-year program designed to meet the professional development needs of middle and high school science teachers for developing an inquiry-based science classroom.
The American Chemical Society (ACS) student chapter at Grand Valley State University was selected to received an Honorable Mention Award for its activities conducted during the 2013-2014 academic year.
