Dr. Dianne H. B. Welsh, Hayes Distinguished Professor of Entrepreneurship and Founding Director of the Entrepreneurship Programs at The University of North Carolina Greensboro
Today’s students, more than ever before, are focused on a job-centered education. Cross-campus entrepreneurship teaches students to deal with ambiguity, be flexible, and allow them to be creative and innovative in anything they do now and in the future. Graduates today will change careers an average of seven times. The at-risk students are those students not prepared and equipped with a mindset and skillset in entrepreneurship to best face the future and its challenges. We will discuss how to blend entrepreneurship in any discipline across the university.
