Regional Idea Pitch Competition Providing Opportunities for Innovaive Student Ideas
West Michigan Colleges and Universities Group and Ernst & Young, LLP present
The 4th Annual Regional Idea Pitch Competition is a showcase of entrepreneurial student talent in West Michigan. The winners of local idea pitch competitions represent colleges and universities including Aquinas, Calvin, Cornerstone, Davenport, Hope, GRCC and Grand Valley.
In the Regional Idea Pitch Competition, contestants have 90 seconds to pitch their innovative idea for a new product, service or business to a panel of veteran judges. $1,500 for 1st Place; $1,000 for 2nd Place; 2, $500 Awards for 3rd and 4th Place.

2011 Regional Idea Pitch Competition Recap
The 3rd Annual RIPC at Davenport University was a great Success! 14 students representing 7 area schools pitched their ideas to the judges, business professionals, and students in attendance. Local startup experts Amanada Chocko with Momentum, Fred Keller with Cascade Engineering, and Joe Ponstein with Ernst & Young LLP provided emperical advice to all of the participants. The event was a tremendous networking opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs and seasoned professionals alike.
