Are you feeling overwhelmed with meeting the demands of all of your assignments, exams, and out-of-class responsibilities? This workshop will help you assess how you are spending your time in a typical week and provide strategies for improving your time management skills.

Do you want to learn how to study more effectively and perform better on tests and exams? If so, then this workshop is for you! Come learn about your personal learning style and how you can study more effectively. Strategies for test taking will also be presented to help you improve your performance!

En Route to a Social Work Major

Are you a first or second year student who has questions about the social work major requirements? Are you curious about the social work field and the job opportunities that exist? This workshop is designed to give you an overview of the social work major requirements, an introduction to faculty and students in the program, and an opportunity to meet other students interested in the major. This workshop will begin in Allendale. After a brief overview of the major requirements, you and an academic advisor will take the route 50 bus to Grand Rapids. From there we will tour the downtown Pew campus, have light refreshments, and meet with other students and faculty in the social work program for a question and answer session.
