Testing Services - Math placement testing, CELT for speakers of English as a second language, and accommodated testing for students with disabilities. Also provides information about CLEP and AP course equivalencies
Transitions - helps students meet new people, get acclimated to campus, and prepare for a successful university experience. All new students are expected to participate in Transitions
Tutoring Center - provides free tutoring to all Grand Valley State University students in most 100- and 200-level courses. Tutorials are conducted in small group settings

Writing Center - assist all writers at any stage of their writing processes. Our 53 peer consultants can help with brainstorming ideas, organizing content, paraphrasing or summarizing research from various sources, polishing a final draft, and correctly documenting sources.
