Spring/Summer Pre-Requisite Errors

If you plan to take a course during the 1st 6 week term that is a pre-req for a course you wish to take in the 2nd 6 week term you will need to request permission to register for the second course. This is because banner does not recognize the two terms as separate.
To request permission for a course offered in the College of Community & Public Service (CJ, HTM, LS, PA, SW) then please follow the instructions available at http://www.gvsu.edu/ccpsadvising/override-request-forms-47.htm and indicate this as the reason. If the course is in a different department than those listed above you will need to contact that department for instructions regarding how to request permission.
If you plan to take the subsequent course in a different semester then no permission is necessary. Banner will recognize you are registered for the pre-req and assume successful completion.
