South Haven Hiring Police Officer

The City of South Haven is creating an eligibility list for the position of police officer. Detailed qualifications and police employment application are available on our website at www.south-haven.com. A successful candidate must be at least 18 years old and possess, at a minimum: A High School Diploma/GED, a current driver’s license, pass a complete background check and be licensed or eligible for licensing by MCOLES no later than December 31, 2012. A competitive wage and benefit package is offered.
To schedule, complete a profile and test for these positions, go to https://www.empco.net/testing/ and follow the instructions. There is a fee to take the examination, but results of this one test will be accepted by all participating police departments in Michigan. You must apply through the city and pass the EMPCO test by November 9, 2012.
