HST 380-03: Medical Humanities (21796), an interdisciplinary 1-credit course being taught in conjunction with Laurie Garrett's Fall Arts Celebration Lecture, "I Heard the Sirens Scream," which will be presented on Monday, October 7 at 7 p.m.
The class will run on Fridays from 2:00-2:50 p.m., September 13 to October 10.
 
The course will be team-taught by 4 faculty members:

Jonathan White, Criminal Justice, History
 
The course text is Garrett's book, I Heard the Sirens Scream: How Americans Responded to the 9/11 and Anthrax Attacks. Students will write two short reflective essays.
 
Pre-requisite: Junior Standing
