An Online Orientation Program for Community Colleges

In order to improve retention and graduation rates, colleges may begin making new student orientation mandatory for all students. Community colleges serve a unique population that may make it difficult for all students to attend an in person orientation on the main campus. Also, making orientation mandatory will mean an increased staff and budget in order to accommodate all students. Online orientation is a solution for community colleges that allows all students to participate in orientation, but without time, location, or budgetary constraints.
