Advising Hours
CCPS Undergraduate Advising Center
The CCPS Undergraduate Advising Center staff are here to assist you with issues related to your degree progress and navigating GVSU policy and processes as you work toward your degree goals. You should meet with an academic advisor at least once a semester or whenever you have questions.
An appointment is strongly recommended to ensure an advisor is available to meet with you. Please call 331-6890 or stop by 218C DEV to schedule a convenient time that works for you. Walk-ins will be accommodated as time permits but are rare based on the busy appointment schedule each advisor maintains.
Fall and Winter Semester Hours
Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm and Friday 8:30am - 5pm
Spring/Summer Semester Hours
Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm
Faculty Mentor
Your faculty mentor is available to discuss issues related to your career interests, internships/volunteer experiences, graduate school admission, research opportunities, etc. You should meet with your faculty mentor on a regular basis (several times a semester!) to develop a relationship and continue the conversations about your interests.
To schedule an appointment with your faculty mentor, you should contact them directly for their office hours.
