CCPS sends four faculty to community engagement conference in Texas

In early October, four faculty from the College of Community and Public Service attended the Engagement Scholarship Consortium 2013 Annual Conference in Lubbock, Texas. Joining faculty and staff from universities across the country, they attended sessions on innovative community-based teaching and research and explored the conference theme of spanning disciplinary, community, and geographical boundaries.
With fresh insights from the conference and support from GVSU's Office for Community Engagement, these CCPS faculty will now work with their colleagues to enhance the culture of engaged scholarship in their respective departments.
