College of Community and Public Service Awards Faculty

Date: August 27, 2013

Each year the College of Community and Public Service Faculty Advisory Committee gives away three awards to outstanding faculty. This year we would like to congratulate:

Dr. Kristen Jack as Outstanding Mentor
The Faculty Advisory Committee awards the Outstanding Mentor Award to a faculty member for their outstanding performance mentoring students in academic, professional or personal development.

Ruth Stevens, J.D. as Outstanding Teacher
The Faculty Advisory Committee awards the Outstanding Teacher Award to a faculty member who demonstrates resourcefulness, a true concern for student accessibility for assistance in advising, evidence of being current in their field, and has the ability to stimulate intellectual curiosity and to challenge students.

Dr. Chris Kierkus for the Outstanding Contribution in a Discipline Award
The Faculty Advisory Committee gives out this award each year to a faculty member who has clearly demonstrated research, scholarly, or creative accomplishment or service through professional organizations. This award winner must also have work that is documented as exceptional by professional peers or public acclaim.

Congratulations again to all of our award winners and nominees!
