The College of Community and Public Service was formed in 2004 as part of the University's reorganization. However, the five units included within the College have been around for years and, in many cases, even decades. They represent most of the professional disciplines from the social sciences - the School of Criminal Justice, the School of Public and Nonprofit Administration, the School of Social Work, the Department of Hospitality/Tourism Management and the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership. Dr. George Grant Jr. began his service as Dean of the College June 2008 - bringing with him expertise from both collegiate and community public service venues.
We invite you to browse our website for information about our College. You can find many useful links for students, community members, faculty, and staff. Here is the link to our Strategic Plan.
