College of Community and Public Service

More Information

"The classes for graduate studies are primarily in the evenings, which allow me to work during the day and attend at night." - Barbara Goodspeed, MHA '14, Manager of Quality Improvement at Spectrum Health

The College of Community and Public Service (CCPS) was established in 2004. It combined five preexisting units of the university, all of which had strong community connections and a professional focus. The first CCPS Dean was Dr. Rod Mulder, who had been Dean of the School of Social Work. In 2008, Dean Mulder was succeeded by Dr. George Grant, Jr.
