PSY 540 - Characteristics of Autism

The course provides an introduction to the characteristics and etiology of autism spectrum disorder. Students will learn about the history of autism, diagnostic criteria and common characteristics, etiology, an overview of current interventions, and current controversies in the field. Offered on sufficient demand. Prerequisite: Permit only.
