PHI 335 - Philosophy and Democracy

Explores the idea of democracy within the context of a major philosophical tradition. Investigates the concept of democracy in such areas as social and political thought, educational theory, aesthetics, ethics, metaphysics, philosophy of science and philosophy of religion. Part of the Sustainability Issue. Offered fall semester of even-numbered years. Prerequisite: Junior standing.
