PH 612 - Public Health Genetics

Application of advances in genetics and molecular biotechnology to improve public health and prevent disease. This course provides an introduction to the field of genomics, integrating findings from genetic epidemiology and genetic screening, with the goal of preventing disease at the population level. Course offered winter semester. Prerequisite: Admission to the Master of Public Health program.
