NUR 707 - Policy for Advanced Practice Nurses

This course will guide students through specific policy issues related to advanced practice nursing. These topics include reimbursement, prescriptive authority, scope of practice, impact of the Institute of Medicine reports on the role of nursing in health care, and the role of professional nursing organizations in the policy making process. Offered spring/summer semester. Prerequisites: Graduate standing and NUR 607, or permission of instructor.
