HNR 256 - East Asia and the World: Ideas, Inventions, and Power 1

This course is the first part of a four-course foundational interdisciplinary sequence on the geography, history, and culture of east and central Asia. Surveys the history of China from c. 10,000 BCE to the end of the Tang Dynasty in 907 CE. Fulfills WRT 150 requirement. Fulfills Foundations - Historical Perspectives. Course offered fall semester. Prerequisite: Restricted to first-year students in the Meijer Honors College. Corequisite: HNR 257.
