The JOFI is a career assessment that will help you not only learn about yourself but also provides you with specific job fit categories and positions. The GVSU Career Center has partnered with JL HR Consulting to provide this career assessment and a two part interactive workshop to understand your assessment results and explore your career matches. Julie and Liz of JL HR Consulting have over 50 years of combined experience selecting and hiring for well-known companies across the US. They understand what employers are looking for as well as how to engage in effective decision making to help you commit to a path that resonates with your self-awareness and aligns with your career aspirations.

WHO is this for?

• The JOFI Workshop is ideally for prospective or current GVSU Adult Learners and GVSU Alumni.

WHY should I do this?

• If you are unsure about the direction of your career or are looking to change career paths/industries, the JOFI assessment and workshop may be a good fit for you!

WHAT does it include?

• JOFI Assessment and Report
• Access to a personalized Career Navigation website
• Two 90-minute group coaching sessions to understand your assessment report and begin taking action on your next steps.

HOW much does it cost?

• The cost for the JOFI Workshop is $200.

WHEN are the workshops offered?

Please choose either Session 1 or Session 2. Workshop A and B are both included and attendance at time slot for each is recommended. 

Session 2:

• Workshop A (pick one day/time):
  • Tuesday, May 28: Noon - 1:30 PM or Wednesday, May 29: 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM or Thursday, May 30: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
• Workshop B (pick one day/time):
  • Tuesday, June 4: Noon - 1:30 PM or Wednesday, June 5: 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM or Thursday, June 6: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Session 3:
