WE KNOW THE FEELING. You're at a new school; you could be hours or just a few minutes from home. You know some friends at Grand Valley from your high school, but you really want to get involved and meet some new people, right? Grand Valley is a pretty big school, which can certainly be overwhelming, but with its size comes so many different opportunities for you to really connect and find your place! We'll be honest... Campus Ministry @ GVSU is a pretty big ministry, but there are many ways to get involved and truly make it your home. CM @ GVSU is a community of people who know what it feels like to be the 'new guy'. Our staff have been there. Our students have been there. Whether you're a freshman or a senior, getting connected at CM@GVSU keeps you connected on-campus and off-campus and helps you form long-lasting relationships. So, how do you make those connections? Keep on readin' for some ideas... GET CONNECTED. STAY CONNECTED. There are a lot of students who attend the services on Sunday and our other gatherings, but how do you become more than just a person in the crowd? Well.....one way is to get involved! There are a lot of opportunities to meet people through activities, events, and services. Our weekly gatherings and monthly events bring hundreds of students together. Don't be shy, introduce yourself; step out of the ol' comfort zone. There are many Christian college students who would love to get to know you and hang out, so that you can figure out this whole college thing together. Still unsure of where to get started with getting connected? Stop on by our offices in the Cook-DeWitt Center (located at the base of the Clock Tower on the Allendale Campus). Sometimes it gets a little crazy in there, but it's a great place to hang out, put faces to names, hear about events or find answers to any of your questions. Hope to see and meet you soon!
