Community Involvement

	Adopt a Highway Campus Dining participates in the Adopt-a-Highway program. We currently sponsor I-196 from 88th Avenue to Byron Road. Managers and volunteer employees service this area during the Spring and Fall. Click here to see our certificate. Pictured to the left are Campus Dining managers Connie Carr and Chuck Brown.
Relay for Life 2009 Campus Dining helps support the Relay for Life Effort. Campus Dining raised $7,811.47 for 2009!
	Paul Mixa works with GVSU football team for Ronald McDonald House Charity During March, Paul Mixa, Allison Adams from the Hospitality and Tourism Management department, along with the GVSU football team and coaches all got together for a special cause; preparing meals for the Ronald McDonald House of Grand Rapids. This group helped prepare healthy, home-style meals for 35-40 family members who were temporarily living at the House while their loved ones received medical care in the area. This event was part of the ‘Athletes Who Care’ program and GVSU hopes to make it an annual event.
