L. William Seidman
L. William Seidman, founding chair of Grand Valley's Board of Trustees, died May 13, 2009 at the age of 88. Seidman was one of the founders of Grand Valley State University, helping galvanize local support for the establishment of a public four-year university in West Michigan.

Our undergraduate programs focus on student success in class and in building careers, by providing majors in ten emphasis areas; internship opportunities with many different local organizations as well as national and international companies; international study opportunities to enhance diversity and expand global business knowledge; almost 100% job placement rate after graduation; classes are offered on all four Greater Grand Rapids area campuses: Allendale, Grand Rapids, Holland, and Muskegon.
