GVSU to teach how to sell products into Southeast Asia at June seminars

MUSKEGON, MI – If you or your company has a product that could be sold in Southeast Asia, Grand Valley State University has an educational opportunity for you.

The GVSU Van Andel Global Trade Center is presenting two identical half-day seminars on export sales opportunities in the 10-member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

The first seminar offering is Friday, June 14 at Grand Valley State University on the downtown Grand Rapids campus and the second is Wednesday, June 19 at the Michigan Alternative and Renewable Energy Center in Muskegon. Both sessions are from 8:30-11 a.m.

Southeast Asia has a robust economy with 600 million people in the 10 countries in the association. It is a large and growing market for West Michigan exporting companies, Van Andel trade center officials said.
