Liberal Arts & Sciences

What does it mean to be entrepreneurial in the liberal arts?

Because the Liberal Arts program is such a wide section in education, the answer could be limitless.

Maybe you would like to turn your passion for history into making films and selling them to text book producers or, if you happen to be a Bioscience major, the Entrepreneurship (ENT) minor will help you in understanding how to acquire funding, licensing and other necessities for possible research that you plan to implement into your own business venture. Or maybe opening your own art gallery? A Liberal Arts degree with an entrepreneurship background provides endless possibilities for a promising independent future.

At Grand Valley, you are able to learn the essential business skills needed to develop, market and grow your business idea with the ENT minor.

Regardless your passion, the ENT minor will give you the key skills to take whatever you are most passionate about and help focus your talents in producing your future endeavors.

The ENT minor also exposes you to the business world, which will give you valuable networking opportunities with thriving businesses and industries and encourage your creative mind to form new agencies or new business ventures.
