Target Audience: All GVSU undergraduate students with a business idea, product, service or existing business are invited to participate.

Purpose/Student Outcome: The CEO Idea Pitch Competition presents students with a great opportunity to pitch their business idea to a panel of judges and a chance to win cash prizes. Idea pitch is a frequently used term, which literally means “tell me about your business within the time that it would take to ride up an elevator.” Presenting yourself effectively is an essential tool in the business arena. A well-planned idea pitch can open the doors to success in your future endeavors.

Selection Process: GVSU undergraduate students interested in participating in the competition will complete an Idea Pitch Competition Application and submit it to the CEO E-board. The applications will be reviewed, and if the idea fulfills the requirements to participate, an invitation will be extended to the nominees.

Event Details:

  • No registration fee
  • Competitors will be analyzed by a panel of judges from the Grand Rapids community
  • Cash prizes offered to top three competitors

Event Atmosphere: The IPC is a professional environment where GVSU undergraduate students will be competing. Grand Rapids area entrepreneurs, family, friends, GVSU students, staff and public are all welcome!
