ECO 345 Environmental and Resource Economics

Part of the Gen. Ed. Theme: "Earth and Environment."
Introduction to market and government influences on environmental and natural resources. Topics include: trends in land development and land-use policies, relationship between land use and environmental quality, regulatory versus market oriented environmental policies, supplies and prices of mineral and energy resources, harvest and protection of forests and fisheries. Prerequisites: ECO 211 or ECO 200. Three credits. Offered every other year.
