In accordance with AACSB requirements, The Seidman College of Business has designed and implemented an effective and detailed Assurance of Learning Plan that encompasses all of its five academic programs.
The Director of Assessment is responsible for assurance of learning in all the five programs that are offered by the Seidman College of Business. The Director chairs a standing Assessment Committee comprised of a representative from each academic department. The College's faculty members have been involved in all aspects of the assurance of learning process, including design, data collection, assessment, and curriculum revision. The Director reports to the entire Seidman faculty about significant results and initiatives.
Each program has broad goals that have been identified with feedback from faculty and the business community. The specific student learning outcomes (SLOs) are derived from the broad goals of each program.
The assessment of the SLOs for the five programs is performed on a continuous basis so that our programs ensure the realization of specific learning objectives.
