Join Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha and the Great Michigan Read for a discussion and book signing at Grand Valley State University.
The Kutsche Office of Local History in conjunction with Grand Rapids Public Library are hosting Dr. Hanna-Attisha. She will discuss, read from, and sign her book, "What the Eyes Don't See: A Story of Crisis, Resistance, and Hope in an American City." In it, Dr. Hanna-Attisha recounts her discovery of how the children and families of Flint were exposed to lead in their drinking water, and the ongoing work to begin recovering.
The event is free and open to the public.
