Role playing as a means of understanding: Simulating the impact of Hurricane Katrina at Memorial Hospital, Susan Strouse - Participants will role play one of selected characters in Five Days at Memorial as they discuss their decision making process regarding who to evacuate and who to keep at Memorial Hospital, as well as the treatments those who stay at Memorial will receive. Through the role playing and debriefing afterwards, participants will have an opportunity to examine their decision making processes, feelings, and thoughts in an attempt to gain an understanding of the events that occurred at Memorial Hospital after Hurricane Katrina.
