Success in Emailing Your Professor

Please consider the following when sending an email to a GVSU professor:

Use your student Gmail account to minimize the likelihood of your email being considered spam.
List your course and section number in the subject line
Politely phrase your question(s) or concern(s) using grammatically correct sentences
Refrain from using IM/text messaging slang
Sign your first and last name to the end of the message
Proof read before sending
Allow a reasonable period of time for a response
