Dan Bergman  served as chair for a session and gave two presentations, “Human Impacts: Toxin-Induced Behavioral Alterations in Crayfish” and “An Investigation of the Intrinsic and Extrinsic Influences on the Aggressive Behavior of Crayfish,” at the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology Conference in West Palm Beach, Florida

Mat Edick co-wrote articles, “Transient Induction of ING4 by Myc Drives Prostate Epithelial Cell Differentiation and its Disruption Drives Prostate Tumorigenesis,” published in Cancer Research, and “Host Thiopurine Methyltransferase Status Affects Mercaptopurine Antileukemic Effectiveness in a Murine Model,” published in Pharmacogenetics and Genomics

David Kurjiaka  co-wrote, along with former BMS student Philip Muellerleile, “CaV3.2 Channels and the Induction of Negative Feedback in Cerebral Arteries,” published in Circulation Research

Debbie Lown gave presentations, “The Nutrient Intake of Women Experiencing Homelessness in Grand Rapids, Michigan,” and “The Influence of Raised-Bed Garden Participation on Fruit and Vegetable Consumption,” at the Obesity Society National Conference in Boston, Massachusetts.

Cyndie Thompson  co-wrote: “Accessing Foods Can Exert Multiple Distinct, and Potentially Competing, Selective Pressures on Feeding in Common Marmoset Monkeys,” published in the Journal of Zoology; and "To pair or not to pair: Sources of social variability with white-faced saki monkeys (Pithecia pithecia) as a case study, published in the American Journal of Primatology.
