Date and Time

Thursday, May 11, 2017 8:00 PM

Description

Our perceptions of our moon have changed considerably throughout time. This presentation will include a brief history of some of those early beliefs, delve into how those perceptions significantly changed because of the Apollo and Luna missions, and explore how recent spacecraft from the United States, India, Europe, and China continue to provide new discoveries about our nearest neighbor.

Presented by Kevin Thaisen.
