Description

Speaker: Sarah Campau, Behavior Specialist, Kent County

Applied behavior analysis is the science of understanding why people do what they do. No, this is not Criminal Minds - instead these techniques can be used to determine behavior for anyone, not just serial killers. The behavior analyst then uses this information to create positive change in individuals they are serving. Discover how ABA is the scientific companion of psychology. Learn about the grandfather of ABA, BF Skinner, and why he's a pretty cool guy. An often misunderstood science, this presentation will explain what ABA is, how it's used, dispel some myths, and teach some tricks along the way.
