Career Options - Pharmacy

GVSU offers courses in pre-pharmacy that meet the entrance requirements for all pharmacy schools nationwide.  Resources for students interested in pursuing a career in pharmacy can be found at the CLAS Advising Center's Pharmacy School page. There are currently three accredited pharmacy programs in Michigan:

University of Michigan College of Pharmacy

Ferris State University College of Pharmacy

Wayne State University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

Dual Degree (B.S./D.Pharm) Program - GVSU/U.of M.  GVSU has an arrangement with the University of Michigan whereby selected GVSU students who meet specified criteria will be granted guaranteed admission to U. of M.'s College of Pharmacy.  Details of this program can be found on pages 4 through 7 of this Pharmacy Document
